Programme Background
The Tendering for Contracts Training Programme provides a SCORM compliant, comprehensive andmodular training program that empowers small firms who wish to learn how to tender for public or private sector contracts.

Programme Development
The programme was first developed and piloted at several locations in the London area between (1998 and 2000). In 2002, the programme was further developed and endorsed by the Small Firms Enterprise Initiative (SFEDI) a department of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Training Programme Accreditation 2
Tendering for Contracts Training are in negotiations with Accreditation Bodies to become a registered centre - this means that the Tendering for Contracts Training programme will be relevant not only to small firms but also to individuals who wish to improve their management abilities or improve or change their careers.

After accreditation each learner pursuing The Tendering for Contracts Training programme will receive a management certificate or diploma, these negotiations are scheduled for completion by the end of 2006.

Learner Support
Learners on the programme will receive free support during the learning phase by email, and VOIP, in addition learners who complete the training programme can receive additional support for any projects they may have from a number of expert consultants in all areas relevant to their business development through a direct dial-up software service link, this is a subscription only service. - For complete detailsof costs and other details.

Delivery:
SCORM 1.2 Compliant E-learning, each learner must first register and pay the course fee before getting access to the course and receiving the workbook.

Workbooks
A fully featured 290 page workbook with extensive reference materials and useful links.

Support
Supported by a UK wide network of specialist business training and verifiers, Each learner is assigned a verifier, each learner receives FREE VOIP and email support.

Duration:Minimum 8.5 hours per day for (5) weeks minimum learning time, learners may proceed at their own pace.

Audience:
Individuals or Owner/Directors of any firm or small to medium enterprise.

On successful course completion, the course workbook is submitted by the verifier for assessment and certification.

Each learner receives a Certificate / Diploma in Tendering for Public Sector Contractsif the submitted workbook has been assessed to be completed to the required standard.We utilise an open book concept - which means that the learner must follow the workbook and enter answers to questions - which are in the course.

Programme Endorsement The programme qualified for an Investigating an Innovation Grant from the (DTI), under the small to medium business development initiative programme established by the (European Commission) and administered by the DTI.
